Please note that there will be no training session for the Licence Professionnelle Assurance Banque et Finance at the start of the new academic year in September 2025. There are no other degrees in this field on offer at the University at the moment.
Presentation:
The Insurance Banking Finance/Customer Relationship Manager vocational degree trains advisers in the banking sector. This course benefits from a partnership with the École supérieure de la banque (ESB). The course alternates between university and company (20 weeks at the IUT and 32 weeks at the company). Students are salaried employees under an apprenticeship contract throughout the course.
Admission requirements :
Applicants must hold a 2-year higher education diploma (DUT, BTS or L2) or have obtained validation of professional and personal experience (VAPP). The course is also open to company employees, employees on individual training leave and jobseekers. Students entering the programme mainly come from BTS (58%), DUT (18%), licence 2 (7%) and other courses (17%). The list of candidates selected by the course's teaching staff is passed on to the professionals, who invite the candidates for job interviews.
Target skills :
The aim of the Insurance, Banking and Finance degree is to train middle managers capable of :
- Analysing customer behaviour and asset profiles
- Identify and propose solutions tailored to each profile (credit, investments)
- Analyse customers' assets and draw up personalised balance sheets
- Conducting sales meetings, developing a consultative approach to commercial relations, practising commercial negotiation and working as part of a team, calling on experts where necessary
- Master canvassing operations to develop your portfolio and build customer loyalty
- Mastering the tax rules applicable to private individuals
- Manage individual accounts, promote banking products, include credit and insurance offers in proposals sent to customers, monitor portfolio accounts, prevent and manage risks.
