The "Theatre and Writing" Masters is a multidisciplinary Masters course specialising in the study of European and international theatre from Antiquity to the 21st century.
It focuses on the theatrical text. It also looks at the transition to the stage and the relationship between theatre, the novel and poetry.
The work-linked course in the Master's in Theatre and Writing is a highly professionalised course that focuses on writing for the stage.
The course aims to train experts in dramatic, scenic and critical writing, as well as professionals capable of producing written work in the publishing, communication and cultural mediation professions.
This course is :
- a strong partnership between the academic and professional worlds,
- teaching organised in workshops that provide intensive practice in writing,
- time spent in a company to gain work experience.
Work-linked courses will be available for Masters 1 at the start of the 2023 academic year and for Masters 1 and 2 at the start of the 2024 academic year.

It is partly shared with the non-alternative Theatre and Writing course.
Work-linked training means :
