Objectives
The aim of this Master's programme is to train experts in the languages, cultures and literatures of the English-speaking world, as future researchers and teachers. A high level of training enables students to take competitive entrance exams for the civil service and cultural professions and provides a highly targeted springboard for a doctorate, but also opens the way to a career in one of the many professions in information and communication, political science, international relations, journalism and publishing.

Special features
The 'Theatre(s), Literatures and Anglophone Cultures of the 20th and 21st Centuries' programme offers an introduction to research through specialist seminars in literature, culture and linguistics in the various Anglophone cultural areas. These seminars are closely linked to the research themes of EA 4277, the research unit on which this master's programme is based: http://ictt.univ-avignon.fr

International
This Master's programme is resolutely international in scope, with the possibility of an Erasmus stay at a British or Irish university.

Laboratory partnerships
The master's programme is supported by the "Cultural Identity, Texts and Theatricality" research unit: http://ictt.univ-avignon.fr
All masters students are members of the team and take part in its activities (colloquia, study days, workshops, seminars). Internships are offered within the unit to provide an insight into the research profession (event organisation, scientific editing and formatting).
