Domain: Human and Social Sciences

Description : The Humanities and Social Sciences (SHS) field at the Université d'Avignon brings together three disciplines - History, Geography and Information and Communication Sciences - as well as six well-structured research laboratories, all contributing to the development of the 'Culture, Heritage and Digital Societies' axis.
They all share the common core of studying people in society, over time (History), in space (Geography) and through their interactions (Information and Communication). The strong links with the local ecosystem and the many collaborations with local players contribute to the professionalisation and professional integration of students.

Admission

Admission requirements

Master 1 :
Bachelor's degree in geography, planning or equivalent

Master 2 :
Master 1 or Master's degree in geography, urban planning or equivalent.

Entry to Masters 1 or 2 may be based on the validation of a recognised equivalent level, or on professional experience. The GEOTER Master's degree (1 or 2) cannot be taken on a sandwich course.

RECOMMENDED BACHELOR'S DEGREES FOR ACCESS TO THE MASTER'S PROGRAMME :
Geography, development, urban planning, geomatics, as well as the environment, economics, etc.
