The DAEU is a level IV national diploma, which confers the same rights as the baccalauréat.

The D.A.E.U. is designed for people who have interrupted their studies without having the baccalauréat.
This diploma gives people from a wide range of backgrounds the opportunity to obtain a qualification equivalent to the baccalaureate, thereby giving them the prospect of acquiring a higher education diploma and/or a career move.
