The Master's degree in Law, specialising in legal professions, is a university course leading to a professional qualification and is now well established in the local university landscape.

The aim of this Master's programme is to prepare future graduates to work in the legal profession. To this end, it offers a specialised generalist course, focusing on deepening academic knowledge and strengthening the practical skills expected of law graduates. It enables students to enter the legal profession either directly from the Master's programme or after further study (which is often the case in law, as many legal professions require students to pass a competitive examination or entrance exam to gain access to a professional school), in particular to become lawyers, judges or doctorates. A large number of professions are targeted in this way, in the judicial, paralegal, notarial and entrepreneurial fields, etc.

-> The Master 1 Métiers du Droit offers students with a law degree a solid grounding in private and public law through lectures, tutorials, case studies and practical seminars.
-> The Master 2 in Legal Professions includes more specialised teaching with a greater emphasis on professional skills (case studies, practical cases, drafting clauses and pleadings, etc.), an introduction to research (writing a dissertation and defending it are compulsory) and an awareness of the major legal issues of our time.

In order to enhance the professionalisation of future graduates, this Master's degree can now be taken on a sandwich course, particularly in the second year. This enables students to begin specialising in their course, in line with their employer's field of activity. In this way, students can put the skills they have learnt on the course into practice more regularly and more successfully. In return, they are more receptive to the teaching they receive and more responsive to the exercises they are given.
For students who do not choose the apprenticeship route, a work placement lasting at least 3 months is compulsory in the second year, during the second semester.
