Training objectives

The Master's in Management of Innovation and Digital Transformation (AES major) is a multi-disciplinary course that addresses the economic, legal, organisational and social changes associated with digital transformation in the public and private sectors. Rooted in economics, management, law and social sciences, this Master's degree trains students to analyse, manage and evaluate digital transformation projects, and is based on theoretical and applied teaching, with the aim of developing the skills needed to design innovative strategies and integrate the contemporary challenges of digital transition and organisational performance.

Target groups

This Master's programme is primarily aimed at graduates with a degree in economics, law, management, political science or social sciences who are interested in the challenges of innovation and digital transformation. It is also open to professionals returning to school or retraining with a 3-year postgraduate degree in these fields. Particular attention is paid to candidates with a taste for quantitative analysis, research and rigorous study of the economic and social changes associated with digital technology.

Target skills

- Identifying innovation needs within a public or private organisation

- Designing and managing digital projects with a high strategic impact

- Collect, process and visualise complex data using specialised tools

- Using econometrics and statistics to support diagnoses and recommendations

- Mastering the challenges of data-driven management (RGPD, cybersecurity, open data)

- Analysing an organisation's economic, social, legal and technological environment

- Develop strategies for adapting or innovating in the face of the changes brought about by digital technology and AI

- Integrating the issues of ecological transition, digital sobriety and public performance

- Making complex analyses accessible to a wide range of audiences

- Supporting stakeholders in adopting digital solutions

- Working in interdisciplinary teams in hybrid environments

Entry-level skills

This Master's degree requires solid analytical, summary and writing skills, as well as a strong interest in the digital transformation of organisations. Candidates must be able to understand and anticipate the economic, legal, social and organisational impacts of technological innovations, drawing on the foundations of economics, management, law, sociology and political science with rigour and a critical mind. Fluency with quantitative analysis tools (statistics, econometrics) and software such as Stata, R or Python is expected. Independent and collaborative work, as well as clear and structured communication, are essential for success in this demanding Master's programme.

Culture and creative industries The MITN Master's programme is based in Avignon, the home of the Avignon Festival, which opens up real opportunities for those aiming for careers in culture: project management and steering, transformation of cultural organisations, data and audiences, digital communication, service innovation, the spectator experience, digital partnerships.

Freelance freelance assignments with very specific needs (business analysis, production of dashboards, framing of a digital project, support for RGPD compliance, change management, process automation). This type of career path is ideal for those who want to diversify their experience and build up a portfolio of assignments.

Entrepreneurship You've already set up a consultancy/training business or structure (supporting SMEs in digitising their processes, implementing tools, digital diagnostics, dashboards). The added value is your ability to articulate strategy, data, regulations and change management.
