Le Cursus Master Ingénierie (CMI) Ingénierie pour la Durabilité des Territoires est une formation adossée au parcours de géographie d'Avignon Université (Licence Géographie et Aménagement et Master GEOTER). Par le biais de stages, d'une mobilité internationale et d'enseignements approfondissant les méthodes et outils du géographe, ce parcours forme de futurs cadres créatifs et innovants, capables de conduire des projets en liens avec la protection de l'environnement, la gestion des villes et des territoires, les transports ou les risques naturels. Il existe également de nombreux débouchés dans le domaine des systèmes d'information géographique et l'analyse de données géolocalisées, secteur qui s'est énormément développé ces dernières années. Le CMI cherche aussi, par une insertion très précoce dans la recherche des étudiants, à leur donner une capacité réflexive et une adaptabilité.

- Territorial analysis
- Town and country planning
- Setting up and running regional and environmental projects
- Evaluation of territorial and environmental projects
- Acquisition and structuring of geographical data
- Spatial analysis of data and mapping using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Quantitative modelling of geographical phenomena
- Communicating, disseminating and sharing geographical knowledge
- Professionalisation workshops and company placements
- Research projects
- International mobility
CMI TRAINING COURSES
Le CMI is a five-year course (enhanced bachelor's and master's degrees) proposed by 25 French universities grouped together to form the FIGURE (Formation à l'InGénierie par des Universités de Recherche). The network covers all areas of engineering and prepares students to work in innovative companies (large groups, SMEs, start-ups, etc.) or in research laboratories.
With 75 CMIThe network also offers you the opportunity to build a personalised curriculum thanks to the inter-CMI mobility in one area. Visit national network standards defines and guarantees the balance between the components of this demanding and motivating traininginspired by the curricula of the world's leading universities.
From the first year and every semester, this course devotes a significant part to projects and courses as well as specific situational activitiescombining scientific expertise and personal development.
A CMI is always backed by a recognised research laboratory at both national and international level, and is heavily involved in partnerships with companies. A international mobility (internships or study semesters) is an integral part of the curriculum.
At Avignon University, the CMI pathway consists of enrolment in the bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as automatic enrolment in the University Diploma (DU) encompassing CMI.
The award of the CMI Label and the University Diploma implies :
-Validation of the bachelor's degree and master's degree for the CMI pathway
-Validation of additional CMI UEs
-Compulsory mobility abroad during the course (in the form of work experience or student mobility),
-B2 level English language certification
-PIX certification with a minimum of 400 points
