FRANCAIS :

The master's degree has a specialization in computer science. It is part of an international master's coordinated by the CNAM. AI4CI responds to a major challenge facing the entire European industrial sector: the need for professionals with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) applied to connected industries.
As AI continues to transform industries around the world, the shortage of professionals with these skills could hinder the European Union's progress towards an industrially competitive position. To address this challenge, the AI4CI project proposes to create a new curriculum focused on AI for connected industries.
Through the programmes developed in this master's programme, the project aims to provide students and professionals with a balanced training, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of this constantly evolving field.
Students have the opportunity to carry out an exchange in M2 with other institutions in the AI4CI programme (see https://ai4ci.eu/).

Prerequisites :
Candidates are expected to have taken several EU modules in algorithms, mathematics and technology/programming in their previous course.
Candidates must have a sufficient level of English to follow the courses.

ENGLISH:

Intelligence (AI) applied to connected industries. As AI continues to transform industries across the
globe, shortage of professionals with these skills may lay in the critical path towards a competitive
EU stance at the industrial level. To address this challenge, the AI4CI project proposes to create a
new teaching programme focused on AI for connected industries. By developing the master's
programs, the project aims to provide students and professionals with a well-rounded education
that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of this rapidly-evolving field.

Prerequisite
Applicants are expected to have completed several course modules in algorithms, mathematics, and technology/programming during their previous studies.

Teaching and laboratory team

The Computer Science degree is taught at the Centre d'Enseignement et de Recherche en Informatique (CERI) of the University of Avignon, in the Agroparc business park.

All LMD IT courses are housed in the modern CERI building, which has 9 IT rooms, 3 network and telecoms rooms, 10 lecture theatres and 2 lecture theatres equipped with audio-video equipment.
This building also houses the University of Avignon's Computer Science Research Laboratory (LIA), to which the Bachelor's degree's lecturers belong.

The CERI has a Conseil de Perfectionnement, made up equally of professionals and teacher-researchers, which defines the broad outlines of IT training at the Université d'Avignon.

The training team is made up of teacher-researchers, secondary school teachers and external contributors from the professional world.
