Lhe training team is mainly made up of teacher-researchers, but also includes a few secondary school teachers. The course benefits in particular from the research contributions made by :
-- the mathematics laboratory (EA 2151 LMA)
-- computer science laboratory (EA 4128 LIA)
-- the Rustrel low-noise underground laboratory (UMS 3538 LSBB)

Admission

Admission requirements

In the first year
- baccalauréat (general, strongly recommended, with the mathematics speciality),
- a foreign diploma recognised as exempt from or equivalent to the baccalauréat under national regulations.

Second year
- students who have completed the first year of a mathematics degree,
- students who have completed a first year of CPGE in the MPSI, PCSI or PTSI streams
- other students on application.

Third year
- students who have completed a second year of a mathematics degree,
- students who have completed a second year of CPGE in the MP, PC or PSI streams,
- other students on application.
