Level A2 French: Elementary user (intermediate or common level)

It is defined as follows:

Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, work).
Be able to communicate in simple, routine tasks requiring only a simple, direct exchange of information on familiar, routine subjects.
Be able to describe your background and immediate environment in simple terms, and talk about subjects that correspond to your immediate needs.
