Faced with increasingly complex production systems, the industrial sector requires increasingly highly qualified personnel.
To train for this profession, which requires technical know-how and cross-disciplinary skills, the University of Avignon, in partnership with Adecco and Ressources, is setting up a vocational course leading to a University Diploma.

Objectives
The aim of this course is to acquire skills and knowledge in the operation of automated production systems, by carrying out skilled work consisting of operations characterised by their variety.

There are eight main learning objectives to be achieved during the course:
- Operate production equipment to ensure it runs smoothly
- Dealing with abnormal situations (non-gammed situations by applying the planned procedures).
- Carry out mechanical adjustments.
- Make pneumatic/hydraulic adjustments.
- Check the conformity of the products produced using the measuring and control equipment provided.
- Carry out first-level preventive maintenance operations in accordance with AFNOR standard NFX 60 010, for example.
- Carry out a pre-diagnosis following a malfunction. And following a malfunction, describe a situation encountered using appropriate technical language.
- Position the installation using the degraded operating modes.

Presentation of the course : The DU CSPA is aimed at anyone wishing to acquire or develop skills in the operation and management of automated industrial production systems.
The sandwich course lasts a total of 288 hours. It takes place from January to September at the rate of
one week per month. Examinations in September.
Classes take place on the Jean-Henri Fabre Campus at the Science, Technology and Health UFR (Agrosciences ? Agroparc Avignon). Part of the training takes place on a technical platform (Lycée pro).
