Presentation

The Lifelong Learning Department organised an information meeting on 03/06/2025 with Sylvain Bertschy, Head of Teaching, and Yann Mariton, Teaching Engineer, to answer your questions. You can watch it at the following link:Information meeting

The aim of this DU is to provide theoretical and practical training on the role of work and industrial risks in the management, compensation and prevention of cancers of occupational and environmental origin.

By alternating lectures with practical case studies, we aim to offer training that will enable professionals to :

-Understanding the role of work in the onset of serious illnesses, using cancer as a focus for study
-Developing professional skills to encourage recognition of occupational diseases
-Passing on experience and prevention tools, to act upstream of the diagnosis and help curb occupational exposure.

Target audience:
This DU is aimed at those involved in occupational health, staff representatives, trade union members and staff of mutual insurance companies, associations, lawyers, labour inspectors, staff of social security/protection bodies (CPAM, CRAMIF, MSA), doctors, carers and social workers.

Next session:
The next training session will take place from 13 to 17 October 2025 and from 24 to 28 November 2025. A final training day will also be held in March 2026.
