Teaching and laboratory team

The SVT Licence is a 3-year generalist course. It has been designed to meet the needs of as many students as possible, whatever their level, who are interested in the subjects on offer.

The programme is divided into different Teaching Units (TUs), which enable students to progressively orient themselves from the first year (L1) to the third year (L3) by choosing options in L2. Specialisation is achieved in L3 by choosing a pathway:

- Agrosciences pathway (AGRO)
- Biology, Health and the Environment (BSE) course
- Earth and Water Sciences course (STE)

The SVT degree is part of one of the two research themes developed and supported at the Université d'Avignon, the 'Agrosciences and Science' theme. Students are introduced to scientific research in L1.

The teaching team is made up of research lecturers from the university's various biology laboratories: UMR IMBE, UMR SQPOV, UMR QUALISUD, UPRI, UR PSH, LaPEC, etc.

Admission requirements

L1: Baccalauréat level (S or equivalent recommended).

Access is possible from a number of other courses (BTS, IUT, Prépa, etc.) with possible equivalences.
