Training :
The mathematics degree in preparation for engineering schools is a selective, reinforced course designed to prepare students for a 5-year degree (or doctorate) in mathematics, physics or computer science for careers as engineers, researchers or teachers.
The L1+L2 years of the "licence mathématiques prépa" enable you to validate the 120 ECTS of the L1+L2 years of the licence mathématiques and the 120 ECTS from the L1+L2 physics degree.

Job opportunities

The course prepares students for further study at bac+3 level:
- or in the 1st year of an engineering school (all engineering schools recruit on several routes, including the university route for which we are preparing),
- either L3 mathematics and/or L3 physics.
On average over the last few years, students in the L2 mathematics preparatory course for engineering schools go on to :
- 1st year of engineering school ( ~50% )
- L3 Mathematics or L3 Physics then, after this complete L1+L2+L3 degree course, engineering schools ( ~ 25%)
- L3 Mathematics or L3 Physics, then Masters ( ~ 25%)

Graduate careers : The majority of jobs are inengineers, d'teachers or researchers
